Bible Prophecy of God

The Holy Bible was written over a period of 1,400 years and contains over 100 prophecies of God. Prophecies that not only prove that God exists, but also prove the history of humankind has been unfolding according to the predetermined plan and purpose of God.

Those who don’t believe in God, would probably assume the prophecies written in the Bible must have been added after the prophesied event had been fulfilled.

But the evidence proves the prophecies could not have been added after the event. 

The Christian Holy Bible was written by various authors over a period of 1,400 years. The Bible of the Jews consists of 44 books (known to Christians as the Old Testament) and was written over a period of a thousand years from 1,400 BC to 400 BC.

Then there was a period of 400 years before the birth, life, crucifixion, death, and then being raised to life again of Jesus Christ. 

If Jesus Christ hadn’t been raised from the dead, and proved himself alive over a period of forty days to His disciples before ascending into heaven. Then there would never have been a Christian religion.

But the Old Testament of the Jews contains many prophecies of Jesus Christ, including His birth, life, ministry, crucifixion, death and resurrection, and that Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God.

These Old Testament prophecies were written between 400 and 1,400 years before the birth of Jesus Christ.

The 22 books of the New Testament were written after the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, between 33AD and 70 AD.

There are two reasons why the prophecies about Jesus could not have been added to the Old Testament after 33 AD.

The first reason is because of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. This execution of Jesus was carried out at the request of the religious leaders of the Jews. They hated Jesus for claiming equality with God and so they had him murdered. So for that reason, there is no way the leaders of the Jews would have allowed the scriptures to have been changed to include scriptures that prove Jesus Christ is the only Son of God.

The second reason, is because of archaeological discoveries of books of the Old Testament discovered over the last century. Modern dating methods prove these scriptures to pre-date the birth of Jesus Christ, and identical to much older copies of the scriptures. Scriptures that contain the prophecies of God about Jesus Christ.
