The Joy of Knowing God Through Jesus Christ

The Joy of knowing Jesus as your Lord and Saviour

Dear reader, I want to share with you about something the world cannot manufacture, money cannot buy, and circumstances cannot destroy. It is not found in the bottom of a bottle, it cannot be earned with titles, and it cannot be stolen by tragedy.

It is the joy of knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

The World's Counterfeit Joy

So many people are chasing happiness. They think, if I can just get that new job or promotion, if I can just earn more money, if I can just win the lottery, if I can just find the right relationship, if I can just buy that house or the car of my dreams, then I’ll finally be happy.

But here’s the truth: real happiness doesn't depend on these things. Joy, real joy, depends on your relationship with God — when Jesus Christ lives in your heart!

Happiness is a thermometer, rising and falling with the temperature of life’s circumstances. But real joy is a thermostat, set by the unchanging promises of God and experiencing the love, joy, peace, power and presence of God in your life.

Joy comes through a relationship with Jesus

Jesus said in John 15:11:
"I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete."

Do you hear that? Jesus doesn’t just want you to have joy—He wants His joy, God’s own joy, to fill you up and overflow in your life.

This isn’t about religion. It’s not about rules or rituals. It’s about a living, breathing, daily relationship with the One who loved you so much He went to the cross for you.

When you know Him, really know Him, there is a freedom, a peace, a fire in your heart that nothing on earth can take away.

Joy even through the storms of life

Some of you may be going through storms right now—financial struggles, family conflicts, health battles. And you may wonder, How can I possibly have joy in this?

But joy is not the absence of problems. Joy is the presence of Jesus Christ in the middle of the problems!

Paul, chained in a prison cell, wrote these words: “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!”(Philippians 4:4).

Chains couldn’t silence him. Darkness couldn’t depress him. Because his joy wasn’t chained to circumstances—it was anchored in the love of Christ!

A joy that overflows

When you have Jesus, you don’t just carry joy—you radiate it. People see it in your eyes, they hear it in your voice, they feel it when you walk into the room.

It’s the kind of joy that makes others say, I don’t know what you have, but I want it too.

And that’s the power of the Gospel—it’s contagious! The joy of Jesus spreads like wildfire. It transforms homes, it heals broken hearts, it brings light to the darkest places.

Your invitation to joy

Today, I’m inviting you into a relationship with the source of all joy—Jesus Christ.

He stands at the door of your heart right now, knocking. And if you open that door, if you say, Jesus, I need You. Forgive me. Be my Lord, be my Savior, fill me with Your Spirit,—then you will discover the joy you’ve been searching for your whole life.

So here’s my challenge to you: Don’t settle for shallow, temporary happiness when God is offering you eternal, overflowing joy.

Because when Jesus Christ lives in you, you have joy that the world didn’t give, and the world cannot take away.

And once you experience it, you’ll never want to live without it again.

A simple prayer

If you are ready to receive Jesus into your life, to know the forgiveness of your sins, and to experience His joy filling your heart, I invite you to pray this prayer with me. Pray it sincerely, from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I need Your forgiveness.
I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose again so that I could have eternal life.
Right now, I open the door of my heart and receive You as my Lord and Savior.
Come into my life, forgive me, change me, and fill me with Your joy.
From this day forward, I will follow You.
Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. Amen.”

Soulful Faith

The Promise of God

If you prayed that prayer, the Bible promises:
“To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12).

That means you are forgiven. You are His. And the joy of Jesus Christ is now yours forever. Welcome to the family of God!

The next step

Read David’s book – Evidence for God: Prophecies, Miracles and The Power of God.

Because everyone wants to know for sure the evidence that God exists. They want to know for sure what they need to know and do to inherit eternal life in Heaven when they die. And they would love to experience the love, joy, peace, power and presence of God in their life, and to understand God’s plan for their life on Earth and eternal destiny in Heaven.

That is why David wrote the book, that you may know for sure that God exists, and that you may experience the Joy of knowing Jesus Christ in your life.
