AA. The idea that some kind of all-powerful, super-intelligent, creator-God who created the heavens and the Earth and all forms of life seems ridiculous.

David. That’s what I used to think for the first 25 years of my life. But may I ask you a question?

Did you parents tell you about the evidence for God? Did your school tell you about the evidence for God? And if you went to church, did they tell you about the evidence for God?

AA. No, because there isn’t any evidence to prove God exists.

David. That’s what I used to think, but I was wrong. Neither my parents, school or church taught me about the evidence for God. And by the time I was an adult, I was an atheist, I was an arrogant atheist – I thought anyone who believed in God was deluded.

But, I began to contemplate the meaning of life on Earth and the possibility of life beyond the grave. And the more I considered the reality of evolution, that starting with absolutely nothing, not even the smallest particle of any substance known to scientists. That simply given enough time, billions and billions of years. Suddenly, and without any reason, something appeared that grew all by itself and expanded and exploded that creating the stars, planet Earth and all forms of life. It just seemed like a fairy tale; it seemed impossible and ridiculous to me. So, that is why I began looking at the alternative options for the existence of humankind and the meaning of life on Earth. And so I began my own search for the evidence for God.

AA. Well, that must have been a waste of time searching for a God that doesn’t exist! Everyone knows the science has proved evolution is a scientific fact which no one can argue against.

David. That is what I used to believe, because that is what we were taught at school. But when I began my search for God, I discovered there were many scientists who not only refute the theory of evolution. Many scientists today are providing the scientific evidence of a Creator-God who not only made all things, but made everything in a very short space of time – Six, 24 hour Days, as stated in the Christian Holy Bible.

AA. I don’t believe a word of it. If it was true, why don’t all scientists reject evolution and tell us about the scientific facts that prove God created the universe and humankind?

David. When Darwin’s theory of evolution became popular, many scientists simply chose to believe that God created all things through the process of evolution. But over the past fifty years with the advancement in science, and the fact that the fossil record has failed to prove the evolution from apes to humans. More scientists began to see the science supported creation by God than evolution. 

At first those scientists who began to speak out against evolution, were ridiculed. Some lost their jobs, others were threatened with losing their employment and pensions. Yet, more and more scientists refused to be silenced and continued to speak the truth, even if it did cost them their reputation and careers. To them, scientific fact was more important than ignoring the false teaching of evolution, just to satisfy those scientists who hate God.

AA. If God exists, and if he is a God of love. Then why does your God allow all the wars and evil in the world? I will tell you why. Because he can’t do anything about it because he doesn’t exist.

That’s what I used to think. But then when I discovered the evidence for God, I began to see the reality of the situation.

Our life on Earth is very short in comparison to our eternal life in Heaven. And the Christian Holy Bible makes it clear that the purpose of life on Earth is to prepare us for eternal life in Heaven.

Our guarantee of eternal life in Heaven is based on our salvation through Jesus Christ and being obedient to His commandments. That we are to love God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength, and to love one another as ourselves.

When you look at the world you wonder why God doesn’t do something about all the wars and evil in the world.

But when God looks at the world, He wonders how we can be so disobedient to His commandments, which have led to all the wars and suffering and evil in the world.

You ask why God hasn’t done something about it. 

But God has given us clear instructions that everyone faces physical death and then the Judgement of God. When we pass through the veil of death we will find we are very much alive, and can see, hear, feel, smell, taste, and think!

But if we refused the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ, and lived our life separated from the love, joy, peace, power and presence of God. And we refused to live our life according to the commandments of God. Then guess what? We are thrown like rubbish into the Lake of Fire which is the Second Death.

Bur for those who did receive the gift of eternal life, and cheerfully lived life according to the commandments of God. Then God receives us into his kingdom of Heaven.

And in addition to that, God also allowed His one and only Son Jesus Christ, to become a living sacrifice for the sins of humankind. When God allowed His son to be crucified in Jerusalem 2000 years ago.

AA. Well, if humankind was so evil. Why didn’t your God kill everyone and start again? And the answer is because he couldn’t kill anyone, because he doesn’t exist.

If you take the time to read the Christian Holy Bible, then you will see that is exactly what God did. God sent a worldwide flood to destroy humankind, but decided to save Noah and his family through which God repopulated Earth.

AA. That’s just a legend, there isn’t any scientific evidence to support that fairy-story.

Oh yes, there is plenty of evidence but you never looked for it and you never wanted to look for it. 

AA. Well, if your God is so clever, why did he make humans so weak and foolish and disobedient? Why didn’t God make us so it was impossible to disobey his commandments? Why did God make us so flawed and then punish us in Hell?

It is because God didn’t want to populate Earth or Heaven with robots. God gave each of us free will, and He wants us to want to be obedient. For Christians, as we come to understand the evidence for God, the reason why we are here on Earth, what we need to do to inherit eternal life in Heaven, and the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for us. So that our sins, our disobedience to God no longer separates us from the love of God. 

Then, the more we learn about Jesus Christ, the more grateful we are to Him, and love Jesus and deeply desire to want what Jesus wants for us. This is how we experience the love, joy, peace, power and presence of God in our life here on Earth.

This is why, when we say the Lord’s Prayer, we say the words, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. We want to live our life on Earth, just as we will live our life in Heaven.

But, if your don’t want to live your life on Earth without any concern for God. If you don’t want to accept the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. If you don’t want to love God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength, and to love one another as yourself. 

Then you won’t be surprised that when you pass through the veil of death. That you find yourself cast like rubbish into the Lake of Fire, which is the Second Death.

AA. Now you are just trying to scare me into being a Christian. I’m not afraid of death, because I’m dead, I’m dead. I won't know anything about life after death, because it doesn’t exist.

That’s what I used to think until I discovered the evidence for God. And that’s why I wrote the book – Evidence For God: Prophecies, Miracles and The Power of God. Because it is a terrifying thing to face God on Judgement Day and realise you were wrong about Jesus Christ and his offer of eternal life in Heaven, and find yourself being cast into the Lake of Fire, where you will be in torment until you perish – however long that might be.

Because the evidence for God not only proves God exists. It also proves the history of humankind has been unfolding according to the predetermined plan and purpose of God. It proves that God is who He says He is, that He has done what He says He has done, and will do what He says He will do.

It proves you can always trust in the prophecies and promises of God through Jesus Christ.

It proves that you can experience the love, joy, peace, power and presence of God here on Earth, as you live your life on Earth preparation for your eternal destiny, in God’s kingdom of Heaven.

But as you have told me, that no one ever told you about the evidence for God, not your parents, school, or church. And because you don’t know about the evidence for God, you are in danger of missing out on the greatest gift from God you could ever receive, the gift of eternal life.

Not only that, but your ignorance, your arrogance, your foolishness means unless you do something now, you could end up in perishing in the Lake of Fire!

Doesn’t it make sense, to at least look at the evidence to see if it is true?
